Pyrolysis Technology:

In pyrolysis as a process, the polymer waste is not burned; instead it is broken down into usable finished products like Pyrolysis Oil, Hydrocarbon Gas and Charcoal. In case of plastic/tire waste management, pyrolysis is better alternative compared to incineration or dumping. Incineration is burning of waste which leads to loss of valuable energy from polymer waste. Dumping of polymer waste is known to cause land pollution. By pyrolysis of polymer waste, it is possible to recover value from waste in the form of Pyrolysis oil, Hydrocarbon gas and charcoal.

 

Working Process

Auto-feeder loads the waste tires into reactor, seal the reactor and heat the reactor by burning the fuel (coal, wood, natural gas, oil) in the combustion system. There is a thermocouple installed in the oil gas outlet to test the oil gas temperature, when thermocouple show certain temperature, the oil gas will come out, then go through the cooling system to become to oil. Keeping the oil gas temperate 220-250 Celsius degree is best. At same time, there are some gas (CH4, C2H6, C3H8, C4H10 and H2) cannot be cooled under normal pressure; they will be recycled back to combustion system to burn as energy. The dust and sulfur gas will be removed by the dust removing system. After the oil gas run out, there are slags (carbon black) inside of the reactor, use the automatic discharging system to remove it. Then we can use auto-feeder to remove the tire wire steel. Usually the 10 tons capacity needs about 20 hours to finish the whole process.

2 hours for loading 10 tons waste tires
2 hours for preheating the reactor
8-10 hours for the tire become gas and cooling become oil
3 hours for cooling the reactor and discharging the carbon black
1 hours for removing the tires steel
After this then we can begin the next batch, no need to wait for the reactor, it becomes cool as we use machine for loading the waste tires.
